
Dubai, UAE; March 30, 2017: Majid Al Futtaim’s City Centre Mirdif wowed visitors with an incredible runway show featuring the seasons latest collections yesterday on March 29, located at the mall’s Central Galleria attended by two of the city’s most esteemed fashion experts, Mina Al Shaikhly and Fashion Pirate yesterday on March 29.
Underscoring Majid Al Futtaim’s commitment to create great moments for everyone, everyday, families and friends were delighted by a thrilling re-enactment of the popular ‘Beauty and the Beast’.
The mall’s SS17 collections, that are now available to shop in stores, were unveiled to an audience of media, visitors and tourists as the models displayed glamorous looks from a selection of participating retailers including Desigual, Levis, Karen Millen, Juicy Couture, Lipsy, Koton, Garage, Superdry, Aeropostale, TATI, New Look and Matalan.
On March 30, looks from childrenswear and mommy-to-be brands such as: Pumpkin Patch, Destination Maternity, Petit Bateau, The Childrens Place, Forever 21 and Forever 21 Kids Marks & Spencer, Nike, Cath Kidston, Nine West, Charming Charlie and Toms will showcase their latest collections.
On March 31, City Centre Mirdif’s collaboration with the popular eco-friendly kids group ‘Trashion’ will take centre stage. The show will feature an exciting display full of creativity and promoting messages of environmental responsibility. Gifted children will display their designs, made using recyclable materials. The top three young designers will be rewarded with cash prizes worth AED 5000 for first place, AED 2500 for second place and AED 1000 for third place.
Also, on March 31, the latest collections from Moonsoon and Monsoon Kids, Z Generarion, Stradivarius, Debenhams, Galvanni M, Promod, Jennyfer, Muji, Aldo and Aldo Accessories and lastly, Dune will be shown in a compelling closing fashion presentation.
Until April 15, visitors who shop for AED250 at City Centre Mirdif will have the opportunity to win a AED20,000 shopping spree every week. Shoppers can double their chances of winning if they spend at any of the fashion outlets in the mall. Additionally, visitors who spend AED600 at City Centre Mirdif during weekdays can win instant prizes.
