Custom Show Emirates has announced its readiness to launch the seventh edition of Custom Show Emirates 2022, from 25 to 27 March 2022 at the Dubai World Trade Center. Rare cars for young Emirati men and women, this came during the press conference held this morning in Central One in front of the Museum of the Future in Dubai.
In his opening speech at the conference, Jamal Saleh bin Lahej, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Custom Event, stressed that the Custom Show Emirates is the first exhibition of its kind specialized in displaying the largest selection of modified cars and motorcycles in the region, and that it was able to make its name as a successful brand in the UAE and the region. And the world, pointing out that this success led to the conclusion of a partnership agreement with the American organization SEMA International, which has a long record in the history of modified car exhibitions, worth 42 billion dollars.
Omar Al-Attar, CEO of the “Custom Show Emirates” exhibition, said that the exhibition had achieved great success in the past years, which made it the focus of the attention of companies, specialized people and those interested in the field of modifying cars and motorcycles, and that since the end of the last session, the “Custom Show Emirates” team has been keen to attract more companies The local and international organizations, led by the “SEMA International” organization, agreed to participate in a large number of modified American cars in our current session.
Linda Spencer, governmental and international relations officer for the American International SEMA Organization, said: SEMA International was keen to open new horizons for cooperation in the field of car modification in the Middle East by signing a joint cooperation agreement with the “Custom Show Emirates” exhibition, stressing that she expects the UAE to be the main headquarters of its business to launch to the rest of the countries in the region.
Bin Lahej added, “The exhibition has witnessed a great development since its launch in 2015 on an area of 15,000 square feet internally and 12,310 square feet in the external area, until it reached 47,000 square feet internally and externally in 2019, and the number of companies participating in the exhibition in its last session 37 local and international car companies, and the exhibition received 160,300 visitors since its launch until 2021, despite the circumstances the world went through, which consolidates its success year after year.
The seventh session of the exhibition includes launching qualitative competitions for participants and the public, where the value of prizes is half a million dirhams, in addition to a valuable prize for the winners in the modified motorcycle category, which is a modern style motorcycle. The exhibition will also include distinguished activities for children and families in an innovative and unique way.
The events of the exhibition this year include Custom Show Emirates Drift Competition – Dubai Trade Center in the outdoor arena, and it is expected that the exhibition in its current session will attract large numbers of visitors from all over the world.
