
In conjunction with the first international conference for research and interventions of the Eustachian channel

On the eleventh of this month, Dubai will host the twentieth annual conference of the Middle East Academy of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery, at the InterContinental Hotel Dubai, in conjunction with the first international conference on Eustachian canal research and interventions. This cooperation represents the first of its kind in the region, with the participation of 1,000 regional and international experts from 33 countries.
Dr. Moaz Tarabichi, co-chair of the conference and chairman of the organizing committee, said that this double medical event, organized by Info Plus, is one of the most prominent specialized events in the region, and constitutes an ideal platform to present the latest developments and discuss challenges and innovations in this specialty, pointing out that the specialty of ear, nose and throat has witnessed a tremendous development during the past years, characterized by the diversity of delicate and complex cases it covers, in addition to being a specialty that combines clinical and surgical skills and serves all Age groups.
Dr. Moaz added that conference participants will benefit from a comprehensive program that includes presentations, workshops and networking opportunities aimed at enhancing their knowledge and practices, highlighting disparities in the management of Eustachian tube disorders (ETD), promoting collaborative research, standardizing treatment protocols, and promoting knowledge sharing at the international level.
In turn, Dr. Latifa Al-Makoushi, President of the Twentieth Conference of the Middle East Academy, Assistant Professor of Pediatric Otolaryngology, at King Abdulaziz University Hospital, King Saud University in Riyadh, said that the scientific program of the conference will present a rich and diverse range of topics, including the latest diagnostic technologies, advanced surgical developments, and emerging treatments, with a focus on subspecialties such as pediatric ear, nose and throat surgery, rhinoplasty surgery, head and neck surgery, ear surgery and vestibular balance, and Nose and sinuses, audiology, in addition to the workshop “The Balance Man”
Dr. Latifa added that the conference will include keynote lectures, guided educational courses, interactive discussion sessions, in addition to the resident research competition, which will host a group of regional and international experts, as we are proud this year to host more than 100 speakers from all continents, who will participate in presenting a rich and distinguished scientific program covering the specialties of endoscopic nose and base surgery, ear surgery and cochlear implants, pediatric otolaryngology, facial plastic surgery, and sleep surgery.
, Head and Neck Surgery, Auditory and Vestibular Medicine noting that this diversity enhances scientific discussions and ensures comprehensive coverage of real medical cases.
She explained that the scientific committee and speakers include 17 doctors and 133 regional and international lecturers, while the scientific program includes 52 scientific sessions, 625 scientific lectures and interactive discussions, 253 scientific research, 5 seminars from the industrial sector and workshops, and 30 resident doctors participating in the “Heinz Stuemberger” global research competition.
More than 25 leading pharmaceutical and medical device companies will participate in the conference as sponsors and supporters of the conference.
